FRCS (Lond), FRCS (Neurosurgery), CCST (UK), Spine Fellowship (USA). Skull-base & Vascular Fellowship (USA). Director – Department of Neurosurgery and Spine
I have found Neurosurgery to be both mentally stimulating and technically very challenging. I have obtained a fairly thorough grounding in both the clinical and the academic aspects of neurosurgery. I plan to continue working as a Neurosurgeon in Kolkata. I intend to be very proactive, not only with regard to patient management, but also with the applicable aspects of clinical and biomedical research.
I was the Chairman for Education (Neuro), AOSpine Asia Pacific Region, which is part of an international organization involved in propagation of Research and Education in Spinal Surgery from May 2008 to Aug 2011.
I am a member of the Neurological Society Of India and of the Association of Spinal Surgeons of India.
